A USB ISP in-circuit serial programming adapter is used to install bootloaders and software on common AVR microcontrollers. This module has a SCK option that allows it to work with controller boards that have a clock speed of less than 1.5MHz.
USB Isp programmer with a 10-pin ISP connection provides the interface to the microcontroller at a programming speed of 5KB/sec.

It consists of an ATMega8 and a few passive components. The programmer employs a firmware-only USB driver and does not require a specific USB controller, making it a low-cost USB programmer.
The programmer is USB-powered and may be used on laptops. Windows Vista and Windows 7 are both supported by the software. Programming is fast and does not require external power.
